Tre Synful aka Trey Borden, Lauren Phoenix’s ex suitcase pimp, current copyright infringement lawsuit litigant (filed by Brett Rockman), and professional thief who stole at least $50,000 in money, services, and property from adult legend Lynn LeMay.

Brett Rockman is suing Tre and his company Synful Media from $150,000 in copyright infringement damages.

I personally witnessed Tre Synful steal at least $50,000 in funds, services, and property from Lynn Lemay and her company Lemayzing. He never returned two hard drives of unique content shot and owned by Lemayzing, he was responsible for thousands of dollars in chargebacks on Lemayzing’s network of websites due to the fact that he never uploaded any of the content onto the sites, he stole web traffic from the company by placing links to his sites inside of the Lemayzing website member areas instead of the appropriate content, he deleted all of the original content on LynnLemay.com without backing any of it up, he put the Lemayzing credit card processing account in his name in spite of being told not to do so, he was belligerent and disrespectful regarding requests to setup email accounts for Lemayzing website domains, he never uploaded any content to the Lemayzing affiliate program area nor even setup the Lemayzing affiliate program as promised. In fact, he took the funds given to him personally by Lynn LeMay to start the LeMayzing affliliate program and started his own unsuccessful affiliate program called Synful Dollars. Prior to receiving the funds to start the Lemayzing affiliate program, Tre did not own an affiliate program of any kind.

Is there a lesson to be learned here? Yup. If you’re dealing with Tre Synful, Tre Borden, or whatever he is callling himself on any given day, watch your back and hang on to your shirt, because it is going to be a bumpy ride.

Trey never returned Lynn Lemay’s hard drives, content, nor did he ever produce any sort of affiliate profit for her.

Her association with him is not good either. Dan and his company Genesis are less than honest in my opinion due my experience with his affiliate program, Swank Dollars. I believe they shave at an extraordinarily high rate. Shaving is the practice of sponsors not counting signups sent by affiliates and keeping the money for themselves.

What the hell is going on with DVD sales? For example, via the Adult DVD Empire program this month, I’ve made almost $8.00 in profit. This time, one year ago, I made $200 from the Adult DVD Empire affiliate program for the month of October 2007. This represents a 90% drop. In previous years, I could count on at good money from all my DVD affiliate programs. But, not anymore; DVD affiliate sales have diminished as badly as adult site memberships. I have never seen DVDs sales at such an incredible low and I have been doing this since 1998.

How bad are things? When Pirates came out in 2005, I sold 13 copies via AdultDVDEmpire.com in October, then 57 copies in November 2005, 61 copies in December 2005, 41 copies in January 2006, 22 copies in February 2006, and so on. It is the best selling title I’ve ever sold by far. How many copies of Pirates 2 have I sold? Zero.

Is it a good movie? Yes, but unfortunately consumers are only buying 10% of the DVDs they did three years ago. Even before it was released, Pirates 2 never really had a chance. Another symptom of precarious times was the AVN press release from Wicked announcing the release of several new compilations. Wicked has been churning out 4 hour compilations at a rapid pace over the past two years. Obviously, they are leaning even more heavily on their catalogue to generate profits.

On a final note, Video On Demand is NOT the answer to DVD sales woes. The profits are simply too small and need to be pumped up to 1998 prices. Letting people jack off for only 10 cents a minute hurts the whole industry. Video companies need to pull their content off VOD site immediately and demand more money now! Let’s get the VOD affiliate payouts back up to the old level.

In the meantime, what will the industry do to generate cash? I guess we’ll all become escorts.

Does Adult.com have the cajones to deactivate the accounts of webmasters who pull content from the paysite area? Why, you ask? Because you don’t sell Playboy.com memberships by posting the full layout of the current Playmate of the month. There is no incentive for the surfer to buy a membership.
