Devon Goes Off
Former contract girl Devon has posted a very funny rant about her career in porn on her MySpace.com blog. She writes:
Hey whats up everyone!!! First off im fuckin crazy and don't give a fuck, haha. I really wanna speak my mind more than ever lately after learning some of this real life jugglin. The past forevers i always worked for a few big companies like vivid, jill kelly, and digital playground but now im straight up doin my own thing:) This industry is so wack you wouldn’t believe it. lol. Lately ive been laying low hanging out with friends and doing alot of fun stuff tryin to stay away from the whole porn mess. I’ll be back though for sure Just in a different way:) Sometimes you get so caught up that you can no longer see the big picture from the outside which is important to me and should be for everyone. Looking in, i feel bad for everyone in the industry and how bad everyone rips each other off. I barely don’t even know any girls that aren’t also escorts to pay the bills. You all know how much respect you have for call girls. haha. Being a star in movies doesn't cut it, neither does doing a photoshoot once or twice a month. That would all change if maybe one company would give the so called stars residuals off thier movies. After all these movies sell for years but they'll payout the stars around 50 g's total one time(girls and guys so a few grand per scene) for a movie that could produce millions over time. haha, who's your daddy!! The man behind the desk doesn't care at all because he knows his market tools don't know any better and of course thier gonna come shoot again to pay those bills. I’ve even heard them joke around about going on vacation for a few years and coming back and thier girls will still be stuck in the same spot doing the same thing. Girls sometimes tend to think thier the center of attention when really this whole game is about that disc and box in the stores marketed the right way. Bad publicity is good publicity as long as your name gets thrown up. You can't say that about most other jobs:) It's this big stupid circle. Any extra money made for most goes into poppin pills like vics, zanis, doin blow, having a badass car for your apartment lol. Just keep spending too somehow keep your head alittle sane to deal with what you've become. You could spend all your money and have the best material items only to realize your not happy so go buy something else. lol. The more you make, the more you have to spend. I’m not counting myself out because yes, I’ve been there done that and still struggle with my own problems just like everyone else. We'll every porn girl too me is really a beautiful girl inside and out trying hard to fit in with a bad past. To think back i can't really remember too many kids throughout school dreaming of being a pornstar. Just about every pstar I’ve met wishes they could do mainstream movies but it’s alittle hard once you get labled as a pornstar. Maybe some late night hbo shiz but they just want you to show off your body there too. I guess picture it this way. You show up to set, theres like 20 wierdos there waiting to see you naked that can't wait too watch, and you just have to block out your head and pretend your not really in your body. I've never even gotten close to getting off on camera nor have i ever had fun filming a movie. But don't get me wrong because i know there are some people out there that would like to have sex in front of a bunch of strangers with some toolbag they don't know. Filming with girls(g/g) isn't as bad because you feel alot more comfortable but i don't know any girls who look forward to filming with a guy. lol. Sex is just more fun and a lot better when a camera isn’t documenting you if you can see it that way. Doing anything and everything you want, anywhere and be the real you:) Publicists may tell you to say different though:) No matter what you gotta feel bad for the guy pornstars that try and make it thier living. Id rather sell drugs, haha. Or do it on the side like some I know:) That’s just alil of the truth. lol. Ive been very fortunate to become surrounded with alot of good people lately and they’ve been helping me see alot of the real things in life. I used to be so caught up in wanting to have some designer glasses, purses, clothes but ive realized that nobody cares. haha seriously. Something else i realized lookin into this shit is that i was always trying to impress the wrong people. I moved out here to cali but got surrounded by porn people. I realized that i was trying to dress and look good for only people in the industry and seriously almost every single person in my phone book was friends with people in porn. Thats when i started to realized how stupid i was about not getting out there and experiencing life. Being a pornstar is like being in a stupid race with no finish line and i wish some peps could see that. When you work in the industry you keep trying to impress anybody who you feel might be above you like a boss or another pstar(market tool) but then you finally figure out they are nobody to impress because look at who they are. It doesn't feel all too great when you only trying to impress scum ya know. Alittle back to image; The price for some of these purses, clothes these days, id rather go on a cruise for the same price, The only things i used to look forward to in life was going out to the next club, making the next dollar, getting high next, going on a vacation to get away from porn, but lately thats all changed. Theres just too much fun stuff out there. Maybe im alittle different than your average girl but i like going snowboarding, going wakeboarding, hanging with the boys at the skatepark, smokin weed haha, i don't drink barely so when i do i get hammered! I love the beach and im making this summer towards becoming a better surfer. Anyway i don't know what else to write right now but overall i feel i don't need to prove shit to anyone neither do any of you. Who cares what anyone thinks of who you are because this is your world and nobody elses. I like how the beatboy Eyedea puts it, "this is my world, you just happen to live in it too." XOXO Devon

He also let me know about the bunch of us getting together to file an involuntary bankruptcy, again that we didn't have to do (although that's still an option for those of you that emailed me saying he owed you money also)
At one point I told James fuck it I'm never getting that money I don't even care, and he just handled it with out any need for me to deal with anything!
This is the only time the legal system has ever worked FOR me!
Bottom line is Nic Cramer has paid his debt in full to me and there is no reason to boycott Private product or his movies.

Hello.. Well you would like to know what happened right? NOTHING. After spending 6 days with Zupko, picking him up at his house, driving us around to shop, eat and talk (actually I didn't talk- he talked about himself, NON Stop.)My final meeting with him was scheduled a Press Day for last Wednesday. I pick him up at 2pm. He gets in the car. He lets me know he has no one to build our set. We are now 2 working days away. Yes, I am a little concerned. Well the amazing Rob from Extreme gets up a set builder at the office in 30 minutes. He and Zupko conspire for the afternoon while I sit and wait. All Day.. At 6 pm I have to have Zupko back to his place to meet with AVN for an interview.
Question.. Do you think many girls would pick up and drop him off? Do you think many girls would take 6 days out of their schedule to make no money and just run around endlessly. Dont forget the BOX Cover we shot for HOURS and HOURS- as a matter of fact I recall not getting home from that shoot till about 11pm/ NUTZ.. ....
Well lets sum it up with this after sitting there all day waiting for Zupko to get his shit together he starts bitching me out. Why? well he looks at me and says "Whats your problem?" I respond with " well I have sat in an unairconditioned office in the Valley at about 110 degrees waiting for you to talk to me about my scene that is now 2 working days away. I have taken another day off from working to accommidate your demands to meet with me again" before I could finish he Starts with " you are just like all the other whores in the business, all you care about is yourself. All you care about is making money. You all all selfish bitches etc etc etc etc.....
HEY ZUPKO- are these the same whores who starred in your movies that won you awards- I THOUGHT SO.. Are these the same whores that make up the industry today? Without them who the fuck would you be??!! Ask yourself that...
Anyone who remembers me from the 90's might recall I have a brain, a voice and some serious balls so please dont make the fatal mistake of encouraging my sicilian style to come out and unleash the fury on your ass...
At this point all I could do is remind him I had to get him home by 6pm for his interview. I made it very clear that I have gone way out of my way and we have still not discussed my scene, all I know is NOTHING. and from the looks of meeting A new set designer 2 days before shooting- looks like he knew nothing too. I really overextended myself to make Rob & Tom know I was into working with them, but come on. No script, no set and no idea what is going on .. COME ON!!!!
By the way no one, absolutely no one, will get away with talking to me that way. Kinda poor way to just say Thank you. All he had to do was say- thanks for your patience, sorry to make you sit. Anything would have helped.
That nite, we spoke on the phone on and off for hours reguarding all the bullshit, unnecessary nastiness and ridiculous lack of organization. He said he was working on it.
The next day he called me and said, "we are afraid to work with you. We just dont think your heart is in it. We are cancelling you. NICE... way to go Zupko.. Thanks for nothing. I would like to add one important thing. Extreme and Rob are as amazing as ever. Lizzy and I were plAnning a scene which i would still love to do. This has nothing to do with Extreme. This has everything to do with ,ZUPKO.
