AdultCon 9: Boring!
I'll sum up Adultcon 9 in one word: BORING. The event suffered from several no-shows, such as Nina Dolci, Sarah Blake, Shane, Alexis Amore, Heather Carolin, Ice La Fox, etc. The fact that the Nightmoves Show in Tampa was held the same weekend also factored into the low adult talent turn out. It was very obvious that the show had shrunk in size because of the number of empty booths.
The promoters of Adultcon seem to have anticipated a huge fan turnout, because there was a large number of security officers equiped with ear pieces throughout the venue. The security officers patted down fans and made them open up their bags to check for weapons before permitting entrance. Even media members were patted down and searched.
Once inside, fans could meet and greet a sexy and vivacious stable of adult talent such as Jezebelle Bond, Candice Von, Darien Ross, Carmen Hayes, Alana Evans (who cleverly brought along a bed where fans could pose with her for photos), Jelena Jensen, Annie Cruz, Jack Lawrence, Gianna Taylor, Victoria Sinn, Cherokee, Aurora Snow, Britney Rears, Jassie, Adriana Sage, Brandi Ashe, Brandi Lyons, Lauren Kain, Tiffany DiGivanni, and Cara Lott. Alana Evans was the hit of the day; there was constantly a crowd around her booth watching her pose with a lucky fan on the bed in her booth. For only $5, a fan could pose with Alana in a variety of naughty positions. Alana told me that she selected her outfit to match the bedding!
The event was supposed to end at 9:30 pm, but by 7pm, many performers began to leave the venue. Adultcon 9 fizzled instead of sizzled.

Internext 2005
Internext 2005 was a bundle of fun this past January in Las Vegas. As usual, webmasters enjoyed making their way through the colorful booths set up by major adult sponsors. The seminars offered were informative and presented opportunities for webmasters from all over the globe to network.

Max Hardcore Raided By The FBI
Extreme pornographer Max Hardcore experienced a very unwelcome surprise today when the FBI agents searching for five titles being investigated for obscenity by the Child Exploitation and Obscenity Section (CEOS) of the Department of Justice raided his office today. Max is currently filming in Spain and released the following statement via his lawyer:
“Once again, the government is wasting tax dollars and otherwise invaluable law enforcement resources to try to force a minority view of morality on all of America. Five movies have been targeted by the Federal Prude Patrol. There is no indication of any crime to be alleged except obscenity. If indicted, I will fight to protect my liberty, as well as the liberty of consenting adults to watch other adults engage in lawful, consensual, pleasurable sexual action. Shame on the Bush Department of Justice. I am proud of the movies I make and proud of those who buy and sell those movies.”
According to Jim South, Jr, who posted an account on XXXPornTalk.com, the feds raided Max's home first before raiding his offices which are located inside World Modeling.
"They hit his house before his little office up here in our building.
I opened today and 3 guys come in showing their IDs and papers. I didn't have a key to open Max's office so they were preparing to bust it down. Jim rolls in, opens it, and EIGHT fools come up to search around. Look like some vice with them as some of them looked like college students wearing back-packs and such. sneaky. "

Rumors have been swirling for weeks that Mercedes has been released from her Vivid contract. Mercedes has reassured her fans that she is still with Vivid. Here is her statement from her official Yahoo Group:
Hi everyone I know there have been a lot of question as to weather or not I am under contract or not. There have been a lot of people on the Internet speculating my situation and writing shitty things about me because they think they are up on everything. Well, yes it is true
a few weeks ago Vivid let me go they decided to cut my contract early. I was into my third year with them but there were problems on both sides. I was very suprised I was let go but at the same time I was being contacted by other companies about going under contract with them. I can't picture myself working for anyone other than
Vivid, I started with them and I have never done movies with anyone else so Vivid is like home to me.
I decided that I wanted to try to work the problems out with Vivid so we have been in talks for a while on what was gonna happen which is why I wouldn't comment on
the whole thing. I wanted to get a definant answer from them before I put any information out on what I was gonna do. What it comes down to it my movies needed to be dirtier and I needed to work with more guys
than I regularly do.
So my last movie "My first love" is really dirty I am taking anal and lots of facials also you will see me with different guys that you usually never see me with. I did all 3 scenes boy/girl scenes, I hope you all like it!
