Rob Black Hits Out At The Adult Industry

Rob Black appeared at last weekend's Cybernet Expo (an adult webmater conference). His missed the Friday panel where he was scheduled to appear, but did appear on Saturday at the seminar on 'Hot Issues and Problems', which was about legal problems faced by the adult industry.

Rob had strong opinions on this issue.

'The Free Speech Coalition didn't do a fucking thing for me.', he said.

He also accused the industry of be unsupportive of him in his legal battle with the expection of a few people. In addition, he felt that the industry was selective of the material it was willing to defend.

"Tom Hines said that,'We'll fight for a Vivid movie, but we will not fight for yours.", said Black.

Black also described himself, JM Productions, and Max Hardcore as 'easy targets' because of their edgy content.

"If they were not going after the three of us, they would be going after someone.", he added.

Free Speech Coalition representative, Michelle Freridge, rebuttaled Black's accusation that the organization did not assist him in his legal fights. She explained that the Free Speech Coalition is not a legal fund, but is actually a trade organization that can start class action suits, etc.
