The 2006 AVN Expo started off in Las Vegas today. Literally every adult video company in the world is represented.
The best booth award goes to the team from Shane's World. It features a jacuzzi and two hot chicks in it wearing bikinis. Attendees can play a ring toss game with the girls and win prizes.
There were a plethora of adult performers to be seen. Janine Lindmulder, who recently announced her retirement from the adult business, was spotted walking the floor. She'll be signing tomorrow for Digital Playground. Jenna Jameson and her retinue of Club Jenna girls (Sophia Rossi, Jesse Capelli, Mackenzie Lee, and Ashton Moore) were holding court at the opulent Club Jenna booth. Wicked contract girl Keri Sable, who has decided to quit porn, did not appear at the Wicked booth in spite of the fact that she was contractually obliged to appear. Last year's AVN Performer of the Year, Lauren Phoenix walked the floor incognito attired in a stylish outfit that looked like it came from the Gap. There were some suprises. Former Tushy Girl MariPossa is now the newest Adam & Eve contract girl. Charlie Laine is the February 2006 Penthouse Pet of the Month. Glamourous porn starlet, Alektra, announced that Pat Myne proposed to her last night and that she had happily accepted. Flower Tushy has gotten even sexier with a new haircolor and a cut aerobicized figure shown off in a very revealing red outfit. TeraVision brought out a new contract girl named Jasmyne Taylor. Her blonde baby faced looks and cute Aussie accent will garner her many fan.
Platinum X Pictures (followed close behind by RedLight District Video) had the best costumed girls. The girls wore white satin cheerleader micro miniskirts and tops. One of the back of the tops was the Platinux X logo surrounded by rhinestones. Way to go, Platinum X! The Redlight District girls wore tight red tops and micro miniskirts with white lycra panties underneath.
This year will be the best convention ever!
