An Interview With Arianna Armani
Arianna Armani is new to the business and hails from New York, New York. On Friday, she chatted with me on a break from interviewing people on the red carpet at the opening on exciting new bar and lounge, Oxygen, in Tarzana, CA. She has fascinating views on the adult industry.
Interviewer: So you see porn as a stepping stone
Arianna: Well, ok. Porn is a stepping stone, but at the same time I'm very career orientated; its something that means alot to me. My thing is that a lot of people say what job would you not want to have and I always respond,"One that downsizes my intellect."
I'm very smart. A lot of people, their response would be,'Doesn't porn downsize your intellect?'
In a way, you're not showing your intelligence on film, you're not showing any of that.
So I say that I take my money, I save it, save it for college, save it for school, and my life is set, ya know? A lot of people don't think ahead. I think ahead. So, ya know what? I'm in the right place at the right time and everything is going perfectly.
Interviewer: What were you doing before this? Were you going to school?
Arianna: I was just working, ya know, New York City, in New York. I decided that this is where I want to be. I love what I do and getting paid is just a bonus. So I use this to my advantage and everything is just skyrocketing from here. It is amazing.
Interviewer: Do you have a website?

Where The Boys Aren't 19
Where The Boys Aren't #19 is finally out. The scenes are at least 3 years old, because many of the performers in it have not been under contract to Vivid, the film's maker, for years. Mercedez and Lexie Marie had their Vivid contracts end after AVN 2006. Tawny Roberts left in 2005. To me, the movie looks like it was shot at the same time as Where The Boys Aren't #18 to be perfectly honest (both films have the same cast despite being released over a year apart). The movie is put together as a series of vignettes, there is no real story line. This series appears to have taken a giant leap into the crapper. None of the newer Vivid Girls like Sunny Leone, Cassidey, Meggan Malone, nor Hanna Hilton appear.
The best films in the Where The Boys Aren't film series are Where The Boys Aren't 13 and Where The Boys Aren't 8

"I don't want a career, I just wanna fuck.," says newcomer Deena Daniels
Deena Daniels is a fresh faced newcomer to the adult industry from Arizona. She is from a large Mormon family and was involved in many church activities growing up. Last week, Deena graciously agreed to be interviewed by FreePornStarPix.com during Porn Star Karaoke. Deena discussed her recent departure from Type 9 Models, her career (she says she doesn't want a career, she just wants to fuck), and former occupation - Deena was a snow board instructor.
Here is a partial transcript of the interview.
Interviewer: Deena, who are you repped by?
Deena: I was repped by Type Nine yesterday, but not anymore.
Interviewer:What happened?
Deena: I'm too slutty and I give myself away for free and I get in
trouble for it, ya know, because porn stars aren't supposed to be
slutty.
Interviewer:They thought that was an issue?
(Someone interjects with, 'Her agent.')
Deena: Yeah (laughs)
Interviewer: So, who are you with now?
Deena: I'm repping myself.
Interviewer: And how do people get in touch with you?
Deena: Huh?
Interviewer: How do people get in touch with to book you?
Deena: MySpace. I pretty much know everyone because I blow
everyone, when I'm on set so..everyone has my number
so they just call me.. cause they know if they book
me they are probabaly going to get some.
(Someone interjects with:
Do you answer your MySpace friends when they contact you?)
Deena: Always. Especially, I have alot of weirdos that myspace me
and always myspace them because they are cute.
Interviewer: You don't see this as something that is going to hold you
back in your career. You're still proceeding forward?
Deena: I don't really want a career, I just wanna fuck. (laughs)
Interviewer: So where do you see yourself in one year?
Deena: I don't really know.
(Porno Dan interjects with,'In my basement, hiding under the sink.')
But I have a backup plan.
Interviewer: What's that?
Deena: If I don't make it in the porn business, I'm just gonna go back to being
a snowboard bum and fucking my students like I used to.
Interviewer: In what city were you a snowboard bum?
Deena: It was Pinetop Arizona, that's like four hours east of Phoenix.
Interviewer: What is it about girls from Arizona coming to LA getting into porn?
There's been like an exodus.
Deena: All their parents are like so straight edge and all the girls
get crazy. My parents are Mormon.
Interviewer: You're Mormon?
Deena: I have ten brothers and sisters.
(Someone interjects,'Are you from Phoenix?')
No, I'm from four hours east of Phoenix.
Interviewer: Did you do your Mormon internship, where you turn 18 and go out
and save the world?
Deena: No.
(laughter)
I was the only girl that ever got kicked out of girl's camp for
taking naked pictures in the shower and lighting myself on fire,
but I was teaching a good lesson. I was teaching the 'stop, drop,
and roll class'.
So sprayed my body with hair spray and lit myself on fire and I really
did the whole stop, drop, and roll thing. I was the only girl ever to be
banned from girls camp.
Interviewer: Do you think your students learned from that after you did it?
Deena: They did. Ya know, I'm a really teacher. I was the number one snow instructor
for two years in a row. I'm a great fucking teacher.
Interviewer: How did you become a snowboard teacher? Was that always an interest?
Deena: When I was 11 I had a really hot instructor and so like I hate snowborading
but I took three lessons from him and I ended up being really good and the
instructors are like 50 guys and two girls, so I became a snowboard instructor
to hang out with the guys. I got really good because I was like trying to keep
up with them all the time. And so, you know, boys are a big motivation in my life.
Interviewer: Did you ever think of going professional?
Deena: Uh, yeah I did and I hurt my back really bad cause I jumped off a twelve
foot cliff and hit a tree and now I can't. I can snowboard, but I can do backflips.

An interesting blog written from the female performer perspective

Desi and her daughter, Elli Foxx, are brand new to California. Elli has visited California several times last year and a few months ago, she and her mother decided to move to Porn Valley (i.e. Chatsworth, CA and surrounding areas) where the bulk of porn in the US is shot.
Desi's blog is deeply interesting and enlightening about the realities of starting out in the adult industry. Civilians generally believe that 'porn is easy work' and 'everyone makes thousands a day', when the reality is very different. Desi frequently mentions that she and Elli must keep their nails pedicured, hair stylish, and skin tanned. Readers find out that personal grooming is time consuming and not inexpensive.
Desi also writes about her and Elli's work in mainstream, which is going very well for them. The ladies have been offered appearances on two hugely known nationally syndicated talk shows.
DesiFoxx.com is great read for anyone curious about entering the industry or curious about the true realities of being an adult performer. Desi and Elli are fantastic women and I wish them continued success in all their endeavors.

Clarifying the no more Playboy parties story
There is story going around that there will be no more Playboy parties, like this one. What I have read elsewhere, indicates that Playboy, Inc will no longer throw parties, like the annual Midnight Summer's Dream, New Year's Eve, Halloween, and Hugh Hefner birthday party as a way to cut costs (and also put a bit of pressure on Hef and his family to leave the company). The mansion will still be available for rental for private parties however. The Playboy Mansion is not Hef's private residence. He rents it from the company and the company shoots layouts and videos there, plus also uses it as a residence for models.
Anyway, the best is over for Playboy's online program. The site is rarely updated and is basically cannibalized by people stealing from the content area and putting up free galleries. What was once one of the best affiliate programs online is dead.

Kitty Foxx is dead and so is her husband
The original GILF porn star Kitty Foxx is dead and has been so for two years. Here is her obit from a Las Vegas paper. Her real name was Alice Janette Hergett. She died from stroke complications. Back in the early 2000s, she would advertise on AdultFriendFinder.com for male talent to do scenes with her.

Alice J. Hergett, 64, a beautician, of Las Vegas, died Sept. 21, 2006. She is survived by her daughter, Michelle Y. of Las Vegas. No services are scheduled.
Supposedly after she became very ill, her daughter took care of her and distanced Kitty from any porn friends or acquaintances. Her daughter did not approve of her mother's involvement in pornography. Kitty had been ill for some time prior to her death. I recall an interview before her husband's 2005 death, where he mentioned that Kitty was getting ready for the AVN Expo when she fell seriously ill.

Holly Body is back with 2 new movies

Pachard Reduxx Barbeque A Success!
Don Hollywood graciously offered his home as the setting for the Pachard Reduxx barbeque. This event kicks off efforts pick up the tatters of the We Are The World shoot, because much of the movie has to be re-shot due to Amber Lynn refusing to turn over the talent releases and revelant 2257 information for each film participant.
Doloras Pachard, Jason Sullivan (Henri Pachard's son), Bionca 7, Penny Aline, Jane Waters, Clint, and many others who worked on the project enjoyed hot dogs, burgers, and other tasty dishes in the comfort of the home's breezy backyard area. Other friendly faces such as Ron Jeremy, Dino Bravo, Herschel Savage, and Denis Hof also enjoyed the festivities.

Tera Wray Exits The Building

Beautiful Pleasure Productions star Tera Wray (archives) has decided to retire from the adult industry in order to enjoy her new marriage and pursue other professional endeavors. I wish her the best of luck! Tera was one of the few adult stars to come to the fundraiser at Sardos held for fellow adult star Nikki Hunter, who was stricken with cancer. She has a great heart and her husband is lucky man.

Tera Wray, contract star for Pleasure Productions and 2008 AVN Award nominee for Best New Starlet, has announced her retirement from her career as an adult entertainer. After a meteoric rise in the adult industry over the past two years, Tera has decided to return to a more normal life. She recently married Wanye Static, rockstar and frontman of Static-X. According to Tera, after much soul searching and deliberation, she has decided to be a civilian again and leave her career behind her.
"I have had a great time working with Pleasure Productions and especially Matt Zane," she said. She also thanked her fans for their support. 'Without my fans, I would have never had the career that I have had. They have always been behind me and I will always remember meeting them at AVN," she went on to say.
Even though she has had a short list of twenty-two films, including the series Tattooed and Tight, Punkd Ur Ass and Radium, her impact will be felt for a long time to come. She began her career as a Hooters Girl, advancing with the company until she reached a level as a corporate trainer traveling the country and helping to open new restaurants for the company. Upon becoming tired of the corporate rat-race, Tera contacted Pleasure Productions through representatives of her local adult video store and her career was launched almost immediately.

Tera Patrick has been in the news lately. First, there was the story on her gaming pit deal with the Hard Rock Cafe falling through. Local Vegas writer Richard Abowitz covers the story in his LA Times blog (scroll to the bottom). Here was the most interesting excerpt from the article:
I spoke with a Hard Rock vice president about what happened to the Tera Patrick Gaming Pit. I found out that the concept was not just to brand the area with her image and name but also included her dancing in a choreographed routine. I was assured that gaming attorneys for the company approved the project based on two odd, and very Vegas, stipulations.
1. Tera Patrick could not remove any item of clothing on stage. If she made an entrance in a gown or gloves, those clothing items must remain on her person the entire dance.
2. Tera Patrick may be among the most famous porn stars in the country, but the Hard Rock was not about to help people without the Internet figure that out. The word "porn" or euphemism "adult" could not be used to market her name or the area on the casino floor in any way. "Tera Patrick" good but "Porn star Tera Patrick" bad. Vegas loves labels.
Otherwise, according to the Hard Rock VP, the gaming lawyers saw no problem linking Patrick to part of the gaming floor. So, assuming I was told the truth yesterday, and I think that I was told the truth, that means the Hard Rock did not get cold feet and pull out of doing a deal because of a fear of state regulators. Rather, the project was fine, with certain conditions, in terms of the Hard Rock's willingness to push envelopes.
So what happened? Who knows really knows?
Black Book Magazine also has an interview with Tera, click here to read it. It lightly touches upon the subject of Tera's former website, ClubTera.com, which was run by Club Jenna. (Why would anyone let their #1 competitor run their official website?) Her official site is now run by longtime adult internet company Gammae (they also run SilviaSaint.com) and actually resolves to the url TeraPatrick.com . ClubTera.com also resolves to TeraPatrick.com, so I assume that she must have regained ownership of her domain name, previously held by Digital Playground (who by the way just added a new site tour featuring the lovely Stoya.
In the article, Tera says she is more of a mainstream star than Jenna Jameson, while Jenna is merely the top face of porn. She also says Jenna has more of 'a porn look' and claims to have been more of a crossover to mainstream success than any other porn star.

Correction
Correction: I was under the impression that shemales did come to the US to work for shemale-club.com. TS Wendy Williams says all of the Brazil scenes on the site were shot in Brazil and that some scenes are shot in the US and Netherlands as well. I apologize for any emotional distress caused by my post.
Transsexual performers from Brazil did not work for Shemale-Club.com in the US this year.

Kacey Aliece is the same person as Kacey Montoya
Kacey Montoya is a news anchor in Oregon at station KOIN. She refutes claims that she was ever in porn. However, the internet says otherwise; she posed for 'tease' photos. She claims she only modeled swimsuits, but she did way more than that on a site called Fox Files. Below is a recent photo of Kacey when she was a Palm Springs, CA anchor.
Here is a screencap of a model page for a Kacey Aliece, who looks just like newscaster Kacey Montoya, from Fox Files.
It has to be the same girl. Read the original story on AdultFYi.com where Montoya claims, 'I’m not a porn star. I was never a porn star… I never posed in any pictures with the intent that they would be put on an erotica site.'
She is still featured on a site called Sexiest Women Alive, here is the screenshot from that. I have circled her thumbnailed photo.
The original source for all the Kacey Aliece aka Kacey Montoya links is Oregon Media Insiders. Interesting, the Barbie-esque anchor was 'discovered' by a NYC big time agent who helped her leave a crappy anchor job in West Virginia and move to a larger station in Palm Springs, CA. From there, she moved to an even larger anchor post in Oregon.
Apparently, she is still employed by the station (no, I will not link to her profile on their site). I do not believe the fact that she was in softcore porn is a reason for her to be fired or not have a career in her chosen field. No one died when she flashed her tits.
