Last weekend, adult legends Nina Hartley and Georgina Spelvin made an appearance at Circus of Books in West Hollywood. Nina read from her new book, ‘Nina Hartley’s Guide To Total Sex’, and Georgina read from her autobiography, ‘The Devil Made Me Do It’.
Performer Lucy Lee has a January 26th court date stemming from a New Year’s Eve arrest. Supposedly, she got into a scuffle in a club and the police were called. Her bail is $20,000.
Above is the house where the owner of EroticTemptations.net was arrested for running a prostitution ring. His ‘employees’ were arrested as well. Here is a list of everyone arrested from the company:

Michelle Barr, 24, of Schenectady – 4th-degree promoting prostitution, unlawful possession of marijuana
Albany County Inspector John Burke said, “I never remember arresting girls this young. Most of these girls were 18 and 19. Most of the time when we do prostitution stings, it’s mostly older girls, much older girls.”
One of the arrested women had a Facebook page and, of course, I took a screenshot of it.
EroticTemptations.net not only advertised the services of female sex workers, but also offered a webcam where viewers could watch an employee having sex with a customer (the police do not know if customers knew they were being watched).  This is a screencap of the web page featuring the ‘GFE Webcam’ as it was known.
The site also featured sex workers on webcam and a site where customers could leave review, called Scarlet-Media.com (the domain also advertised web design). See the screencaps below.
Day 2 had less of an up tempo than the first day of the event, but there was still plenty to see. I spotted Dyanna Lauren talking to friends. Gianna Michaels had a huge line of fans wanting her autograph at the Bang Bros booth, even though the Bang Bros booth was smaller this year and in an odd location far from the front. Her line wrapped around the booth. Jada Fire had sexy Farrah hair. She shared signing space with fresh faced Bobbi Starr.
What did day 3 of AVN 2009 bring? The return of Rocco Siffredi, a slew of adult performers walking around in civilian uniform, Lexi Belle and Georgia Jones dancing on top of a table at the Silver Cinema booth, Joe Francis of Girls Gone Wild fame mingling with event attendees, Giana Taylor showed off a new short do, and Jenny Hendrix displayed her new big boobs. The last day of AVN 2009 was a quiet end to an event that suffered a daily drought of traffic. It was the first time in a few years that the final day had fallen on a Sunday. Expo contracts had forbidden exhibitors from abandoning their booths on the last day as many had chosen to do in the past. Some companies even put stipulations in models contracts requiring them to show up for the last day (in previous years, models would blow off the last day for a variety of reasons).
The first day of the 2009 AVN is trade day when it only vendors, buyers, and press. No fans allowed. The aisles were wide enough this year to provide comfortable walking space, which is so unlike previous times and event goers could even feel the cool breeze from the airconditioner.
This year, Teravision did not have a booth nor was Tera Patrick on the floor. That meant that the convention no longer has the names most recognizable to the public – Jenna Jameson and Tera Patrick. It also meant that there was no trickle down event for the rest of the exhibitors ; the people who normally would come to see Jenna Jameson and Tera Patrick or both and then wander around the rest of the facility were not there this year. Attendance was light on each day, but Friday, which was somewhat busy, but nothing like prior years. Oh well, there was once a dream that was Rome.
