2008 XRCO AWARDS LOCATION ANNOUNCED

The X-Rated Critics Organization is pleased to announce the time and location for the 24th XRCO Awards.

On Wednesday April 30th porn’s biggest stars will gather to celebrate the very best the adult industry has to offer.

The new location for the XRCO Awards is The Highlands Nightclub inside the Hollywood and Highland Complex. The H&H Complex is the home of Kodak Theater where mainstream Hollywood gathers to hand out the Oscars®. After years at the Century Club the XRCO moved last year to Forbidden City. The search has been ongoing for a location to become the new home for the annual award extravaganza. The Highlands Nightclub seems to fit that bill.

"I'm thrilled to be a part of taking the XRCO to the next level," revealed Dirty Bob - XRCO Co-Chairman. "The XRCO began in 1984 and this will be our 24th Annual XRCO Awards Show. While our old location, the Century Club, suited our purpose for many years, it is apparent and obvious that we, and the industry, have outgrown such a venue. This new location is simply awesome and is ideal for our industry-only event."

This year’s XRCO Awards are hosted by two of adult’s most stunning women, Gina Lynn and Carmen Hart. Gina is a star performer, director, feature dancer, owner of Gina Lynn Productions and past XRCO nominee as Orgasmic Oralist. Carmen is a contract star for Wicked Pictures and is considered to be an up and coming superstar. Both women are looking forward to the experience of working together.

During the 2008 AEE in Las Vegas, there was purportedly a dispute between Alektra Blue and Amy Reid. Amy's side of the story was sent in:
Its really silly to me that all the industry peps who had something to say do not know me and I have not worked with them. HATERS! Anyway, Alectra has had a problem with me for about a year cuz her dude wanted to fuck. I told her I dont care if I ever do a scene with him, that I would not fuck him out of respect. She wouldnt get over it and was sending my then assistant texts saying pat would never be shooting me again. I called her out on it. Still dont understand why she wouldnt take that drama up with her man. Seen her at the co. party in Vegas, she got in my face. I was just tryin to chill and have a good time. She looked a little typsy so I wasnt gonna act on it. My man was distracted cuz someone was talkin to him. I turned around to give him the"lets get outta here before shit goes down look". Alectra pushed me, I socked her in the face and pushed her to the ground and put her in a head lock. Meanwhile, Alectra was hangin on to my hair for dear life. Security showed up then it was a wrap.
Point being, I am a nice girl as long as people treat me with respect. I was not brought up to back down from anyone when someone puts thier hands on me. I did everything to avoid fighting her that night because of business. As far as third degree, I quit the contract. Many things led up to that, having to defend myself at a company party was the end of it for me. Peace.
